新中国成立50年来,在党和政府的关怀下,医药工业迅速发展。新中国的医药工业为保障和提高人民的健康水平,为卫生经济的健康快速发展做出了积极贡献。我国人口期望寿命由1949年的35岁增至1997年的70岁,这是社会经济进步,人民生活质量日益提高的具体体现,更与卫生事业和医药工业的发展进步密切相关。新中国成立之前,我国化学制药工业基础薄弱,设备落后,剂型单一。化学制药工业主要是新中国成立后50年发展起来的,逐步形成了科研、教学、设计、生产相结合和医药原料、医药中间体、化学药制剂、药用辅料、药用包装和制药机械相配套的医药工业体系,基本满足了防病治病、计划生育、康复保健和防疫救灾的需要。
In the 50 years since the founding of New China, the pharmaceutical industry has developed rapidly under the care of the party and the government. The pharmaceutical industry in New China has made positive contributions to ensuring the healthy and rapid development of the health economy in order to protect and improve people’s health. The life expectancy of our country’s population increased from 35 years in 1949 to 70 years in 1997. This is a concrete manifestation of social and economic progress and the improvement of people’s quality of life. It is also closely related to the development of the health industry and the pharmaceutical industry. Before the founding of New China, China’s chemical and pharmaceutical industry had a weak foundation, backward equipment and a single dosage form. The chemical and pharmaceutical industry was mainly developed 50 years after the founding of New China, and gradually formed a combination of scientific research, teaching, design, and production, as well as pharmaceutical raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, chemical pharmaceutical preparations, pharmaceutical excipients, pharmaceutical packaging, and pharmaceutical machinery. The supporting pharmaceutical industry system basically satisfies the needs of disease prevention and treatment, family planning, rehabilitation and health care, and prevention and relief of disasters.
