侧柏(Platycladus orientalis(L.)Franco)是我国广泛栽培的绿化和观赏等多用途树种,栽培历史悠久。然而,侧柏人工林天然更新仍然存在这样和那样的问题。在幼苗、幼树稀少的立地条件下,侧柏种子萌发是否是侧柏更新的关键至今依然不很清楚。我们应用温室试验、林地播种和自然萌发调查的方法,进行了林地内侧柏种子集中萌发的研究,结果表明侧柏林地内新生种子萌发力较强,而多年混合种子发芽率不高;整地、修路、林地疏伐等人为活动以及径流堆积等改变了林地种子库的空间格局,以至于使大量种子在环境条件优异的局部地块集中萌发;这些地块中促进种子萌发的最重要的因素是降水和土壤水分的有效性,其次是适度的光照条件。侧柏种子萌发和幼苗保存需要适宜的优化环境,在此环境中,种子萌发集中且迅速,幼苗存活和保存率高以至于呈现侧柏集群簇生的状态。
Platycladus orientalis (L.) Franco is a widely cultivated greening and ornamental multi-purpose tree species in China with a long history of cultivation. However, there are still some problems with this kind of natural regeneration of Platycladus orientalis plantations. The results showed that the seed germination of fresh Platycladus orientalis was stronger than that of the mixed seed for many years. The soil preparation, , Woodland thinning and other anthropogenic activities as well as runoff accumulation have changed the spatial pattern of woodland seed bank, so that a large number of seeds germinated in local plots with excellent environmental conditions. The most important factor in promoting seed germination in these plots was precipitation And the effectiveness of soil moisture, followed by moderate light conditions. Arborvitae seed germination and seedling preservation need appropriate optimization of the environment, in this environment, the seed germination concentrated and rapid, seedling survival and preservation rate so high that the arborvitae clustering cluster state.
