The process of separating high-quality fraction paeoniflorin and paeoniflorin isomers using three-bed simulated moving bed is introduced. The operating conditions for the separation of paeoniflorin and paeoniflorin from simulated moving bed were established. The operation mode of SMBC was 1-1-2, the mass concentration of sample was 40 g / L, the injection flow rate was UF = 0.3 mL / min, the elution flow rate : UD = 2 mL / min, extraction flow rate: UP = 4 mL / min, switching time: ts = 25 min, eluent and extract: V (methanol): V (water) = 30:70. The mass fraction of paeoniflorin in the product was 92% based on a standard curve and the yield was 85%. The mass fraction of paeoniflorin was 94% and the yield was 87%. The main factors influencing the separation of simulated moving bed are discussed.
