一、表示要把某物递给某人，意为：给你；拿去吧；这就是你要的东西。如：
　　A：May I have a look at it? 我可以看看吗?
　　B：Here you are. 你看吧。
　　A：Pass me the keys，please. 请把钥匙递给我。
　　B：Here you are. 给你。
　　A：Give me some writing paper. 给我一些信纸。
　　B：Here you are. 给你。
　　A：Have you got a map of London? 你有伦敦地图吗?
　　B：I think so. Yes，here you are. 可能有。啊，在这儿，给你。
　　二、表示找到了要找的东西，意为：在这里；这不是!如：
　　A：Where’s my pen? 我的钢笔在哪里?
　　B：Here you are. 喏，这不是!
　　三、表示找到了要找的地方，意为：到了。如：
　　Here you are! This is the way out. 到了，这就是出口。
　　四、用来唤起某人对某情况或处境(尤指困境)的注意，意为：你看吧；你瞧吧。如：
　　You’re always paying so little attention to your lessons，and here you are，you’ve failed in the examination again. 你总是那样不注意复习功课，你看吧，这次考试你又没及格。
　　五、用来启发或引导某人发表看法，意为：你说呢? 你说说看。如：
