Based on the nonlinear stability control equations of elastic laminates under in-plane loading, the bifurcation theory and functional theory are applied to the Lyapunov Schmidt reduction of finite-dimensional bifurcation equations , Three typical bifurcation patterns are obtained and it is proved that the bifurcation inevitably occurs when the non-homogeneous term is equal to zero
