20世纪80年代,美国华裔女作家谭恩美创作了长篇小说《喜福会》,而“喜福会”则是取自于移居美国的母亲们为打麻将而取的聚会名。作者在《喜福会》当中通过对四对母女之间的代沟与隔阂进行深入描绘与刻画,用以反映华裔在本民族文化与外来文化之间相互碰撞而产生的矛盾冲突和奋斗挣扎历程。而文学评论界关于该部作品的评论数量庞大、种类繁多,而本文将在此基础下,主要围绕当前有关《喜福会》的文学评论进行简要分析研究。
In the 1980s, the American Chinese writer Amy Tan invented the novel “The Joy Luck Club,” while “The Joy Luck Club” was taken from the names of the mothers who emigrated to the United States for playing mahjong. In the “Joy Luck Club”, the author deeply depicts and portrays the generation gap and estrangement between the four pairs of mother and daughter to reflect the contradictions and struggles experienced by ethnic Chinese in the collision between their own cultures and foreign cultures . The literary critics have a huge number of comments on the work of the department, and on this basis, this article will mainly focus on the current literature review of the “Joy Luck Club” for a brief analysis.
