一、概述涂层硬质合金是近十余年内发展起来的一种新型刀具材料。通过化学气相沉积(CVD)等方法,在韧性较好的硬质合金基体刀片表面上,涂覆硬度和耐磨性很高的难熔金属化合物落层,使涂后的刀片具有良好的综合性能。在相同的刀具耐用度下,涂层硬质合金刀片允许采用较高的切削速度,或能在同样的切削速度下大幅度地提高刀具耐用度。与非涂层刀片相比,涂层刀片能降低一些切削力,并能改善加工表面质量。而且,涂层刀片的通用性也较好。作者试验表明,TiC涂层刀片的切削力比非涂层刀片降低3~4%,TiN涂层刀片的切削力比非涂层刀片降低6~9%(锐刀相比)。耐用度提高1~3.5倍。
First, an overview of coated carbide is developed in the past ten years a new tool material. The authors’ experiments show that the cutting force of TiC coated inserts is reduced by 3-4% compared to uncoated inserts, and the cutting force of TiN coated inserts is reduced by 6-9% (compared with sharp knives) over uncoated inserts.
