为了能夠缩短波导定向耦合器的长度,而又不降低定向耦合器的性能,本文采用了压缩矩形波导窄边的方法,以增强孔的耦合。为了能与标准波导匹配,在定向耦合器中还接入了阶梯阻抗匹配段。用传输参数和散射参数分析了这种波导定向耦合器,在各孔阵为弱耦合和阻抗匹配段为小阶梯过渡的条件下获得一阶近似的各散射参数。讨论了终端负载和波导弯头的不匹配对定向耦合器各参量的影响。最后,给出了X波段3分贝耦合度的定向耦合器的设计考虑和实验结果。
In order to shorten the length of the waveguide directional coupler without reducing the performance of the directional coupler, a method of compressing the narrow side of the rectangular waveguide is adopted to enhance the coupling of the holes. In order to match the standard waveguide, a directional impedance matching section is also incorporated in the directional coupler. The waveguide directional coupler was analyzed by transmission parameters and scattering parameters. The first order approximation of each scattering parameter was obtained under the conditions of weak coupling and small impedance transition in each hole array. The influence of terminal load and waveguide elbow mismatch on the parameters of directional coupler is discussed. Finally, design considerations and experimental results of a directional coupler with X-band 3 dB coupling are given.
