难溶性长链聚磷酸铵的许多性质,如溶解性、吸湿性等均与聚合度有密切关系。然而,由于长链聚磷酸铵难溶于水,其聚合度的测定较困难,一般都采用所谓溶液方法测定聚合度。首先通过阳离子交换树脂将长链聚磷酸铵转变成聚磷酸,然后再应用端基滴定法测定其聚合度。本文试图寻找一种较为快速测定聚合度的方法,即首先用强碱和加热除氨,将聚磷酸铵转变为聚磷酸钠,再进行聚合度测定。实验结果表明,该法较为简便、节省时间,可满足工厂化验室的快速测定要求。
Many properties of poorly soluble long chain ammonium polyphosphate, such as solubility and hygroscopicity, are closely related to the degree of polymerization. However, since the long-chain ammonium polyphosphate is hardly soluble in water, the measurement of the degree of polymerization is difficult, and the so-called solution method is generally used to determine the degree of polymerization. First, the long-chain ammonium polyphosphate is converted into polyphosphoric acid by cation exchange resin, and then the end group titration method is used to determine the degree of polymerization. This article attempts to find a more rapid determination of the degree of polymerization method, that is, first with alkali and heat in addition to ammonia, ammonium polyphosphate into sodium polyphosphate, and then measured the degree of polymerization. Experimental results show that the method is simple and saves time, which can meet the rapid determination requirements of the factory laboratory.
