昔日的郭村,曾随电影《东进序曲》而名播全国,而今这个镇的卫生院,随着其良好的医风、高尚的医德和上乘的医术,再次使一个偏僻水乡的小镇名声远扬。郭村镇卫生院现有中专以上卫技人员45人,其中大专以上学历8人;拥有高档次B超、X线影像增强系统、粤林巴斯胃镜、纤维肠镜、血球计数仪、半自动生化分析仪、早产儿保育箱、激光治疗仪、万能手术床、心电图监护除颤系统、高频电刀、救护车等大中型设备40多台套,固定资产达500万元。
