Changes in plasma cholinesterase activity after pregnancy vary in various reports, but most believe that compared with non-pregnant women, early pregnancy (first three months) cholinesterase activity began to decline, mid and late activity decreased Obviously, to the first week after delivery activity to a minimum, but it was also reported at the end of puerperal, cholinesterase activity that returned to normal. The authors observed two groups of pregnant women: A group of 16 healthy full-term pregnancy in epidural analgesia vaginal delivery. Venous blood tests were taken before epidural administration and 4 days after birth and at 1, 2, 3, 5 weeks after delivery. Five healthy mothers in group B underwent caesarean section under epidural anesthesia. Blood tests were performed before surgery and at 1,2,3,4,5 and 42 days after delivery. An additional case of patient C, due to fetal distress under general anesthesia emergency cesarean section
