修辞沟通分离的基本功能与翻译作为沟通不同语言文化的桥梁作用不谋而合。作为跨语言、跨文化的交际活动,翻译也可以被视为一个说服行为,一种修辞活动。不论翻译的预期功能是什么,都离不开某种意义上的说服,离不开言语资源的得体利用。修辞研究中关于得体利用言语资源的论述,对翻译实践研究有很好的启发和应用价值。它帮助我们进一步认清语境对使用语言的影响和要求,以及如何利用语境达到最佳表达效果。而语用学揭示的语言使用的基本原理、语用规则和语言在特定语境中的附加意义则使这种认识更加具体。文章结合汉英两种语言在论辩话语、诉求策略、话语建构方式和美学手段的使用中表现出来的语用差异,通过实例,分析和说明翻译中言语资源的得体使用。
The basic function of the separation of rhetorical communication and translation as a bridge to communicate different languages and cultures coincide. As a cross-linguistic and intercultural communicative activity, translation can also be seen as a persuasion and rhetorical activity. Regardless of the expected function of translation, we can not do without a sense of persuasion, without the proper use of verbal resources. The rhetorical research on the proper use of speech resources, the translation practice of research has a good inspiration and application value. It helps us to further understand the impact of context on the use of language and requirements, and how to use the context to achieve the best expression. However, the basic principle of language usage revealed by pragmatics, the pragmatic rules and the additional meanings of language in a particular context make this understanding more specific. The essay combines the pragmatic differences in the discourse discourse, the appeal strategy, the discourse construction mode and the aesthetics used in the two languages of Chinese and English. Through examples, the article analyzes and explains the proper use of speech resources in translation.
