20世纪以后,蛋品在我国出口贸易中所占比例增长迅速,成为仅次于丝、茶的第三大出口商品,近代蛋品加工业亦随之兴起,并催生了国内蛋业市场。但由于养殖技术落后、政府扶持缺位、外商贸易垄断、国际市场竞争等原因,作为出口大宗的蛋品贸易并未能带动农村养殖副业产业化,也未能给农民带来实在利益,而且在国际市场竞争中亦日趋没落。蛋业发展脉络及特征集中反映了近代农副产业种类杂而不专、数量多而不优、经营散而不聚等一系列问题。
After the 20th century, the proportion of egg products in China’s export trade increased rapidly, becoming the third largest export commodity next to silk and tea. The modern egg product processing industry also emerged and the domestic egg industry market was spawned. However, as a result of the backward farming techniques, the lack of government support, the monopoly of foreign trade and the international market competition, the export of bulk egg products did not lead to the industrialization of rural aquaculture by-products and did not bring real benefits to farmers. Moreover, Market competition is also declining. Egg industry development context and characteristics of a concentrated reflection of the types of modern agricultural industry miscellaneous, not the number of more than good, business without a series of scattered and other issues.
