我县自1958年大量引种刺槐以来,现已有刺槐林15万亩。其中成林10万亩,疏林5万亩。为了探索采伐更新技术,1982年春进行了试验,结果如下:一、试验场地、方法和措施1、试验场地概况:试验地分设在平原和山地。平原区选在晏家屯公社王家庄大队的白马河南岸河滩地上,面积3.5亩;山地选在西皇村公社后马场大队庙西沟,面积50亩,分别进行了不同方法更新试验。王家庄试验地处于平原河滩上;土壤为冲积沙土。伐前林分郁闭度0.4,平均直径18厘米,平均高15米,树龄23年,分布均匀,1982年4月初皆伐。后马厂大队庙西沟南坡,海拔440米,坡度25°,土壤为坡积沙质壤土,林木平均直径14厘米,高7米,树龄22年,伐前每亩45株,分布比较均匀,1982年4月下旬采伐
