在近日举行的英特尔5G沟通会上,英特尔院士、设备与通信事业部无线标准首席技术专家吴耕表示,英特尔首款5G射频前端(RFFE)将于2017年下半年进行测试,推出样品。据介绍,该RFFE支持28GHz和39GHz毫米波。全新的分布式毫米波架构支持广泛的外形设计,可扩展到2×2、4×4、8×8和N×M阵列。它支持高分辨率相移网络,超宽频操作最高可达800MHz,支持大规模MIMO和双极化,预计2017年第三季度实现。
At a recent Intel 5G Communication Conference, Wu Geng, chief technical expert on wireless standards at Intel’s academician, equipment and communications division, said Intel’s first 5G RF front-end (RFFE) will be tested in the second half of 2017 to release samples. According to reports, the RFFE supports 28GHz and 39GHz millimeter wave. The new distributed millimeter-wave architecture supports a wide range of form factors and expands to 2 × 2, 4 × 4, 8 × 8 and N × M arrays. It supports high-resolution phase shift network, ultra-wideband operation up to 800MHz, support for large-scale MIMO and dual polarization, is expected to be achieved in the third quarter of 2017.
