American Robert Levin wrote a wonderful article. He compared the pace of life in 31 countries and regions. None of the top-ranked foreign countries are non-industrialized countries, belonging to Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. One of the slowest countries is Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico and others. We asked the Brazilians how long they would normally wait if they were late at the birthday party for their nephew, and they said the average time was actually 129 minutes, more than two full hours! The Brazilians seldom wear watches, It’s not accurate either Brazilians have very few cars, and public transport is not on time, bus drivers can put the car halfway, I do not know where to go. Ten minutes later when he reappeared, while eating the last sandwich, thank you for waiting patiently.
