由于医院在婚检和产检中的过错，导致广州市一对居民夫妇的女儿一出世就 是重型地中海贫血症患者。日前在法院的主持调解下，由医院一次性给付患者一 家32万元。该案在审理中，曾先后进行了三次医疗事故鉴定。广州市医学会和广 东省医学会同样认定医院承担次要责任。最高人民法院指定的鉴定机构“中国科学 技术咨询服务中心”鉴定认为，医院检查存在过失，主审法官据此认定医院负主要 责任。 在这起案件中，引起笔者关注的不是医院的过错，而是广州市医学会和广东省 医学会的两次鉴定。两家机构在各自的鉴定中，都认定医院承担次要责任，难道是 偶然的吗? 作为保障医疗公平的最后一道关口，医疗鉴定结论是否公正，是关键所在。而 医疗鉴定结论是否公正，关键在于医疗鉴定机构是否能够做到公正。2002年9月
