在1958年大跃进中,黄河水利科学研究所水工室,在党的领导下,以敢破敢立的共产主义气概,连续创造水工试验新纪录。他们曾经以29天的时间全部完成了黄河位山水利枢纽模型试验,为全国水工模型试验首创典范,获得了共青团中央的嘉奖,誊为“工业战线上先进集体”。但他们并不满足已有的成绩,以更大的革命干劲迎接了伟大的1959年。在过去的二个多月的时间里,先后完成了46项技术革新;以4天的时间完成了三盛公水利枢纽模型制造,再创水工试验的新纪录。这是他们为庆祝国庆十周年向全国各水利科学研究单位水工试验部门提出的大跃进倡议书,我们相信它一定会得到广泛热烈地响应,使水利科学研究工作中的友谊竞赛,轟轟烈烈地开展起来。
During the Great Leap Forward in 1958, under the leadership of the party, the Yellow River Water Resources Research Institute’s hydraulic engineering room continued to create a new record for hydraulic engineering with a courageous and daring communism. They have all completed the model test of the Aesculapius dam on the 29th day. They have been the first example of the national hydraulic model test and won the commendation of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. They are the “advanced collectives on the industrial front.” However, they did not satisfy the existing achievements and took great revolutionary merits to meet the great 1959. Over the past two months or so, 46 technical innovations have been completed. The construction of the model of the Shengshenggong Water Control Project was completed in 4 days, creating a new record for hydraulics experimentation. This is the Great Leap Proposal that they submitted to the hydraulic experimental unit of all water conservancy scientific research units nationwide to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the National Day. We believe it will surely receive a wide and enthusiastic response so that the friendship competition in the scientific research of water conservancy will be vigorously carried out stand up.
