Crops are being always under natural and artificial selection on various traits.Consequently,favorable genes underneath have been selected and inherited although we do not know what they are and where they are in the genome in most situations.The A,B,C genomes in Brassica community not only pave the way of three diploid crops and three tetraploid (post-neolithic) crops,but also differentiated into subgenomes.The subgenomes could be interspecific,e.g.the three subgenomes of A in B.rapa (Ar),B.napus (An) and B.juncea (Aj) for which they exchange genes by homologues recombination when they meet together via successful interspecific crosses,or be in tetraploid species per se,e.g.
