　　The purpose of this work was to establish a novel polymeric drug delivery system with functions of long circulation, active targeting, redox and pH dual responsive drug release.G4 Poly(amidoamine)dendrimer (PAMAM) was selected as the basic scaffold, histidine(his) was first conjugated to the PAMAM at certain ratio, then redox-cleavable disulfide bond was introduced between PAMAM and Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), yielding the redox and pH dual responsive conjugate PEG-S-S-PAMAM-His (PSSPH).
