　　Two microbial electrolysis cells (MECs) fed with dewatered sludge (DS) and freezing-thawing pretreated DS were operated to investigate the influence of freezing-thawing pretreatment on the degradation of unstabilized DS.The DS matrix was disintegrated through the processes of freezing (-18 5) and subsequently thawing (~15).
