The article first sorts out the influence of Chinese culture on the postmodern American poetry. Then it analyzes the development of the American poetry after the Eliot era and reveals the inherent inevitability of the acceptance of Chinese culture by American postmodern poetry. Finally, The extensive translation and dissemination of Chinese culture in the United States since the movement has created an indispensable and important cultural context for the acceptance of Chinese culture by post-modern American poetry.
