Objective: To investigate the protective effect of K + channel opener on ischemic brain injury. Methods: K + channel openers were injected into the lateral ventricle of rats at 30 minutes before the middle cerebral artery occlusion, and the ischemic injury of the brain was detected by the pathophysiological and pathological methods. Results: Compared with the control group, the concentration of MDA in the ischemic brain tissue increased significantly (P <0 05) and the concentration of SOD and water content in the experimental group decreased significantly (P 0 05) . Closure of 3d, the electron microscope showed that the treatment group had a lighter pathological changes and mitochondrial degeneration (P <0 05). Conclusion: This experiment shows that K + channel opener can reduce ischemic brain injury
