存在论意义上的“感动论”可以作为儒家伦理学说的核心与基础。“感动”作为枢纽和端口不仅启动人类的道德行为,而且还将存在论层面上的感应一方面与认知层面上的道德感觉与感知,另一方面又与心理情感层面上的感情、情绪与同情连接起来。它使两者相互作用,生发与形成道德感通、感悟与道德知识,从而影响与指导我们的道德生活。基于此概念辨析,可以说,儒家伦理的本质就在于它是立足于情感本位之上的德性示范伦理学。通过区分伦理学的价值层面和伦理学的实践层面,可以有效地化解道德两难的困惑。儒家的示范性道德人格,体现的是某个或某些道德德性的风范,这些道德示范和风范的重要性,就在于其在平凡生活中彰显德性,从而感动、激励和范导人们做好人,行善事。
