目前,中国学术界所能提供给大众的关于海外社会的知识与中国不断扩大的影响力并不匹配。本文以北京外国语大学和东南亚研究为例,结合自身的海外田野经验,说明中国学术界在海外社会知识生产上存在着区域不平衡、学科门类狭窄和缺少一手材料研究等问题。持续性地书写海外社会的人类学民族志应该成为知识生产的重要方式。 At present, the knowledge that Chinese academics can provide to the public about overseas society does not match China’s growing influence. Taking Beijing Foreign Studies University and Southeast Asian Studies as examples, this paper, combined with my own experiences in overseas fields, shows that there are some problems in Chinese academia concerning knowledge production in overseas communities, such as regional imbalances, narrow disciplines and lack of first-hand material research. The ethnographic ethnography that persistently writes about overseas societies should become an important way of producing knowledge.
