Deafness seizures usually have no significant impact on the patient’s life, but improper anti-epilepsy treatment can actually make it worse, so understanding deafness seizures is important. Of the 23 patients with de novo epilepsy confirmed by video-EEG monitoring, 5 were found to have been mistaken for a partially complex epilepsy and were analyzed as follows. In 5 cases 3 women and 2 men, aged 8 to 10.5 years old, the development history was normal. Three of them had a previous history of seizures (cases 1, 2, and 3) and the other two cases had low intelligence (cases 4 and 5). Example 1, Example 3 had partial complex epilepsy treatment, case 4 had partial basic type epilepsy. Example 3 in the use of phenobarbital when the number of seizures but doubled. Five patients were complicated by video-electroencephalography monitoring
