Objective To investigate the relationship between gastric mucosal endoscopic changes and hepatic dysfunction and esophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the changes of liver function and the degree of esophageal varices in 62 patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with portal hypertension gastropathy (PHG). Results 62 cases of patients with liver function Child grading and esophageal varices were significantly different (P <0.05). Conclusion The pathological changes of portal hypertensive gastropathy (PHG) are positively correlated with the degree of hepatic cirrhosis and esophageal varices. With the aggravation of liver dysfunction, PHG also gradually increased, with increased risk of gastric mucosal hemorrhage.
