微波鉴频器的用途很广。在振荡器的频率自动稳定、电子对抗的频率自动引导、瞬时测频及使用“侧音测距”技术的雷达发射机的漂移误差测量等许多方面,微波鉴频器都是一个十分重要的部件。由于微波鉴频器是对被调的微波信号在微波频率上直接进行解凋,无需进行频率变换,因而使电路结构简单,误差源大大减少。
