In recent years, the state has increased its strategic investment in “going out” for state media. CCTV has vigorously stepped up its international channel construction and set up an overseas correspondent station. At the same time, more and more provincial Chinese channels have landed overseas and become foreign Non-neglected groups that spread the image of China. In this study, participants of the Chinese contest of Chinese undergraduates were selected as the research subjects. The survey was conducted by means of questionnaires and interviews to investigate the effect of Chinese channels on the communication among overseas Chinese-speaking Chinese fans. “Chinese Bridge” is a large-scale international Chinese competition hosted by the Hanban.
