As Thailand’s largest tourist source country, China’s importance to maintaining the development of tourism in Thailand is self-evident. However, in recent years, negative news about the Chinese tourists visiting Thailand has been constantly cast a shadow over the healthy development of tourism between China and Thailand. In order to eradicate the long-existing cancer in Thailand’s tourism industry, the Thai government sent out heavy blows to the tourist tours in Thailand in September. Domestically, the Thai government conducts joint enforcement of laws and regulations against transportation and jewelry companies suspected of transporting low-cost groups. On the international front, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand has met with the heads of China National Tourism Administration on many occasions to discuss the future development of the tourism industry. From the perspective of the legal system, Thailand and China jointly establish a tourism tourism foundation. Both Thailand and China are now working together to build a civilized tourism market that will move Taiwanese tourism to a high-quality, high-standard development path.
