Reading is a process of cognition and language communication. It is also an extremely complex physiological and psychological process. The completion of this process requires the reader to use the acquired reading skills and comprehend the intention of the authors to express them through the language symbols so that these symbols can be meaningful, so as to achieve the ideological communication with the author. The reading process is actually the process of understanding language information. To help junior high school students improve their English reading ability, teachers must be effective and strategic in reading.
