Through literature review, the history of Boycott Olympic Games since 1968 is reviewed. The 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and the Vancouver / Whistler bid to host the 2010 Olympic Winter Games are highlighted. It can be seen from this that the anti-Olympic movement is closely linked with the anti-globalization and anti-business hegemony forces. In recent decades, the Olympic industry has inevitably been involved in the tide of capitalist globalization. While meeting the needs of global capital interests, it has led to problems such as environmental destruction, human rights abuses and widening the gap between rich and poor, which has triggered a global Protests. How to utilize the global capital to better serve the Olympic Games and the world is the opportunity and challenge that the 21st century Olympics are facing.
