本品为芸香科植物白鲜Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz.的干燥根皮.白鲜皮含白鲜碱(dictamnine),γ-崖椒碱(γ-fagarine),白鲜醇(dictamnol),梣酮(fraxinellone),黄柏酮(obacunone),以及皂甙等成分,具有抗菌、抗炎、抗癌及解热的药理作用,同时对心血管系统及血液、子宫及直肠平滑肌都有一定的影响.临床上常用于治疗荨麻疹、扁平疣、足癣、湿疹等慢性顽固性皮肤病.为探讨白鲜皮提取工艺的科学性,以活性成分梣酮含量为指标,采取乙醇回流提取,正交试验优选其提取工艺的最佳条件,为白鲜皮的开发利用提供理论依据.
