作为世贸组织的正式成员,中国已于去年年底度过了五年“保护期”,这标志着中国的门户洞开,外资入华的门槛更低。可喜可贺。然而,笔者在《中国石油石化》半月刊上读了题为“五年入世重然诺”的评论后,那股喜幸几乎荡然无存。倒不是说“重然诺”有啥问题,而是该文在赞许中国人说话算数的美德时,把“轻生死”也一并列入。该文以《论语》“子贡问政”为据,不合时宜地告诉国人：“轻生死重然诺”是中国人的传统。

Based on the Analects of Confucius and Zigong Zhengzheng, this article tells the Chinese people in anachronistic time that it is Chinese tradition to “make one’s life and death one after the other”.
