班主任工作是光荣的神圣的。班主任工作是是繁重而艰苦的,班主任是班集体的建设者、组织者、领导者和管理者。一个有责任心的班主任总是全身心投入工作,呕心沥血,殚精竭虑,无私奉献。红烛精神、人梯精神,正是对班主任高尚人格的真实写照。班主任工作又是科学而有规律的,在新的形势下,班主任面临着许多新的情况和新问题,只凭老经验是远远不够的。要使班主任工作上一个新台阶,达到一个新水平,就必须从经验型转向科研型,从随意性转向计划性,从零散性转向系统性,从盲目性转向规范性。作为教师专业化的发展和延伸,班主任专业化的研究和探索也为大家所重视。面对新的教育理念,班主任应该走专业化发展道路,这既是社会赋予我们的神圣使命和责任,也是摆在每位教育工作者面前的一个崭新课题。
