煤炭在我国战略资源中,占有很重要的地位,而且煤炭行业属于高危行业,安全生产非常重要。经调研,我国矿业工程类专业学生每年都多次去煤矿井下生产现场实习、实训。但由于煤矿井下生产的特殊性,根本达不到教学的目的,对学生实践能力的培养影响很严重。为了解决矿业工程类专业学生动手实践难、理论与实践脱节和生产实习难的问题,在大同煤矿集团公司的大力支持下,大同煤炭职业技术学院决定在校园内以现代化、标准化、大型煤矿的规模,以1∶1的比例(除巷道长度外)设计、建设一座“理实一体化”教学矿井。
