Breastfeeding has a temporary contraceptive effect. However, it is not an effective contraceptive method because of the large individual differences between breastfeeding women’s ovulation and recovery. So in lactation need a method of contraception, for this purpose, more use of oral contraceptives. However, studies on exogenous steroid contraceptives have been recently introduced into human milk during established breastfeeding. The initial study of exogenous steroidal contraceptives in human milk was done with labeled steroids. Newly delivered and lactated but non-lactating women secrete less than 0.13% of the oral dose of norethynodrel and ethynodiol diacetate secreted into milk within 4 to 6 days. Later studies with norethindrone obtained slightly higher estimates than the former. The labeled Lynestrenol or Mestranol and its metabolites tagged in 600 ml of milk per day are approximately mothers
