黄河鲤鱼同松江鲈鱼、兴凯湖鲌鱼、松花江鲑鱼并称为中国淡水四大名鱼。我国自古就有“岂其食鱼,必河之鲤”、“洛鲤伊鲂,贵如牛羊”之说,向为食之上品。黄河鲤以其肉质细嫩鲜美、金鳞赤尾、体态优美而驰名中外,是我国的宝贵鱼类资源,同时,其生长速度快、抗病力强、含肉率高且营养丰富,并有利尿消肿、益气健脾、平肝祛风、通脉下乳之功效。是经国家水产认证委员会审定通过
