电解水制氢气的方法比较简单、经济,制得的氢气纯度高,可达95.5%以上,因此在工业上被普遍采用。电解水制氢气用的电解槽主要由电极板、石棉隔膜、绝缘零件和夹紧件等组成。充入的电解液(碱液)在直流电的作用下使水分解,由阴极表面析出氢气,阳极表面析出氧气。氢气和氧气分别从气道进入分离器。电解槽的种类较多,目前在我国应用最广泛的是双极性压滤式电解槽。
