Anne Bradstreet (1612-1672) is the first American poet. Puritanism advocates living in this world but does not belong to this world. She is influenced by Puritanism. Therefore, the world in her poetry is often in opposition to that world. The confrontation between the two worlds simultaneously reflects the state of mind that the conflict and engagement between Annie, a Puritan, and Anne, a woman, especially a woman, left her ego and super ego Forced to split the state. The clashes between the two worlds also show her doubts about God and the patriarchal society in which she lives, thus making her a forerunner of feminism to a certain extent.
