汽车钻设计包含的内容非常丰富,从钻探工艺及主要参数的确定,车型及动力选型,总体设计(包括强度、刚度及动刚度校核,效率及经济性校核,噪音及振动校核)以及万向轴,离合器,分动箱(或动力箱),变速箱,回转器(动力头,转盘),钻塔,加压提升及卷扬设备,冲击器,振动器,液压系统,水泵,汽车改装,专用设备(空压机),附属设备及工具,仪表及自动化等等的选型及设计等。这里只把汽车钻设计中的动力部分作一简要探讨。在探讨汽车钻设计之前,首先必须给汽车钻下一简要的定义,以便把以往的含混的概念加以区别,也便于问题的探讨。
