苏联解体后,接壤亚洲的五个国家哈萨克、乌兹别克、塔吉克、吉尔吉斯、土库曼将回归亚洲。现将其体育实力分析一下。哈萨克:位于原苏联亚洲部分的西南部,同中国新疆接壤。其面积在原苏联各加盟共和国中仅次于俄罗斯联邦居第二位。竞技体育实力在原苏联位于亚洲的几个加盟共和国中居首位,在原全苏联运动会中的总分多居第5、6位。哈萨克水平较高的项目有:举重、摔跤、拳击、柔道、马术,田径、游泳、体操、射击的某些单项也有不少好手。哈萨克的足球实力总的来讲低于乌兹别克,但高于中亚其他三国。其代表球队是阿拉木图的“卡伊拉特”队。这个队80年代曾多次跻身于前苏联甲级行列,并有1人作为奥林匹克队成员参加了1988年汉城奥运会,为苏队夺取金牌作出了贡献。独立后哈足协积极开展对外交流。1992年共有9名优秀运动员出国效力,并派出阿尔根巴耶夫和拉伊斯哈诺夫南下马来西亚献技传经。阿、拉二人在马来西亚联赛中表现出色,被球评家公认为联赛最优秀选手,以“卡伊拉特”队为骨干组成的国家队1992年共进行了3场国际比赛,先后以1比0的同样比分占胜了土库曼、乌兹别克和利比
