胸腺与免疫功能关系十分密切。哺乳动物新生时如去除胸腺,将抑制抗体的产生和抑制迟发型超敏反应及同种移植排斥反应的发生。近来发现去除胸腺可能加速动物衰老的进程,所以无胸腺动物成为研究老年学、免疫遗传及肿瘤的一种实验动物模型。我们在研究衰老与免疫关系中,进行过小鼠胸腺去除手术,初步获得成功,特报道如下。
Thymus and immune function is very closely related. Mammals, such as the removal of the thymus newborn, will inhibit the production of antibodies and inhibit the delayed type hypersensitivity and allograft rejection occurred. Recently, it has been found that removal of the thymus may accelerate the process of aging in animals. Therefore, athymic animals become an experimental animal model for studying gerontology, immune inheritance and tumor. We study the relationship between aging and immune, mouse thymic removal surgery, the initial success, especially reported as follows.
