新竖井目前是新疆境内最大中型竖井工程,支护厚度选择及施工的实践具有西部大开发价值。文章结合竖井支护设计和施工,分析了凝灰岩层在井巷开挖中的变形特点,阐述了应用岩石力学理论合理确定井壁支护厚度,论述了施工新技术应用,提出了质量监控技术,加速了施工进度,达到预期目的。
