任何一门学科都没有像体育这样从小学到大学出现知识倒置重复的现象,这就很能说明一个问题:竞技运动不适合在学校广泛教学,只能作为强身健体的一种练习手段,是从属地位,而不是起主导作用。否则,体育教学只能起到事倍功半的效果,甚至一半的作用都达不到,这就更可悲了。因此,学校体育有别于训练运动员的竞技运动。简而言之,竞技运动是体校、运动队和教练员的事,目的是争取冠军,主管部门是各级体委;而学校体育是指一般的公立学校(小、中、大学),广大学生和体育教师的事,目的是增强学生体质,主管部门是各级教委。很清楚,二者都有自己的对象和组织结构体系及奋斗目标,必须各沿其道而行之,不能混淆,只能互用。
