在多倍体甜菜育种和良繁中,细胞学镜检是确定染色体倍数性最可靠的手段。而临时制片中,采用染色剂的种类,又直接影响染色体计数的准确性和显微照相的清晰度。据国内外报道,在甜菜上,广泛采用醋酸地衣红、铁矾—苏木精、醋酸洋红挤压法。醋酸地衣红虽能制出较清晰的片子,也能进行染色体计数。但也存在几个缺点:(1)染色 In polyploid beet breeding and good propagation, cytological microscopy is the most reliable means of determining chromosome doubling.
