2002’日本媒体艺术作品展于2002年8月24日至9月1日在中央美术学院美术馆举办。展览以“艺术、科技、娱乐的融合”为主题集中了1997年以来日本历届文化厅举办的以传媒艺术节中的获奖作品为主的各类作品(103项171件),其中包括五年前世界上诞生的第一个机器狗、不可思议的虚幻影象作品、日本目前最流行、最酷的游戏软件、漫画,当然还有受世界欢迎的动画片。本次展览,首次尝试通过漫画、动画、游戏、数码艺术等形式的日本传媒艺术作品,向海外介绍日本的现代文化和“创造愉悦文化的日本”。
2002 ’Japan Media Art Exhibition was held at the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts from August 24 to September 1, 2002. With the theme of “Integration of Arts, Science and Entertainment, and Entertainment,” the exhibition focuses on all kinds of works (103 171 items), which are mainly presented in the Media Arts Festival since 1997, held by previous cultural departments in Japan, including five years ago The world’s first robot dog, incredible unreal imagery, Japan’s most popular and coolest game software, manga and, of course, world-wide animated cartoons. This exhibition, for the first time, attempts to introduce Japan’s modern culture and “Japan that creates a pleasant culture” to overseas by means of Japanese media works in the form of comics, animations, games and digital art.
