我国是化肥生产和消费大国,据测算2010年国内的化肥施用量将达到6076万吨,约占全世界化肥用量的38%。由于我国整体科学施肥水平不高,农民认为多施肥就可取得高产量,导致了部分地区盲目施肥、过量施肥现象严重,不仅增加了农业生产成本,造成肥料资源的巨大浪费,而且导致了土壤养分失衡,甚至加剧了环境污染和能源紧张,对我国农业的可持续发展影响巨大。测土配方施肥技术的推广应用将使这一系列问题得到有效解决。
