澳大利亚当代著名作家彼得·凯里的《凯利帮真史》以内德·凯利给其女儿书信的独特形式,讲述了一个反抗殖民压迫的民族英雄的生命历程。基于对因殖民话语而根深蒂固的内德·凯利杀人暴徒和丛林强盗形象的解构,小说复原了他反殖民反压迫的民族英雄和自由斗士的身份。本文以巴赫金的双声语理论为读解基础,具体辨识和解析《凯利帮真史》中双声语的表现和策略,揭示了双声语的巧妙运用对解构殖民话语和重构澳大利亚民族文化身份的功能和意义。
In his unique form, Nerd Kelly’s letter to his daughter, “The True Story of Kelly”, written by contemporary Australian writer Peter Carey, tells the story of the life of a national hero against colonial oppression. Based on the deconstruction of the image of the Ned Kelly murderous thug and jungle bandit deeply rooted in colonial discourse, the novel reinstates his identity as a national heroes and freedom fighters against colonialism and oppression. Based on Bakhtin’s double-discourse theory, this dissertation identifies and analyzes the performance and tactics of the double voices in “Kelly’s True History” and reveals the clever use of double voices to deconstruct colonial discourse and to reconstruct the identity of Australian national cultures And meaning.
