今年高考已经结束,招生录取工作正在有序进行。使家庭经济困难学生能够顺利入学,上得起大学、接受职业教育,是当前教育工作的一个重点。月初召开的教育部第12次新闻发布会明确指出:建立健全家庭经济困难学生资助政策体系,使家庭经济困难学生能够上得起大学、接受职业教育,是实践“三个代表”重要思想、落实科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会的重要举措;是实施科教兴国和人才强国战略,优化教育结构,促进教育公平和社会公正的有效手段;是切实履行公共财政职能,推进基本公共服务均等化的必然要求。正在推行的资助政策呈以下特点:
